Elligo Health Research® has recently undergone a leadership transition, with the company's founder and former CEO, John Potthoff, Ph.D., taking on the role of Chairman. Stepping into the position of CEO is Barry Simms, formerly the Chief Operating Officer (COO). Simms, leveraging his extensive background in global strategy and partnerships, is now tasked with driving the strategic direction at Elligo, with a focus on making research-as-care more accessible for patients globally.
John Potthoff, in his new capacity as Chairman, will continue to provide guidance and support to the company. Barry Simms, who joined Elligo in August, brings over 22 years of experience in the pharmaceutical services industry, including significant leadership roles such as Interim CEO and COO at LabConnect. The leadership transition aims to strengthen Elligo's commitment to advancing healthcare research and improving patient access to care on a broader scale.
