Sharp Corporation has recently been acquired by United Drug. Sharp will combine with United Drug’s existing US operations to broaden the range of outsourced services for the US pharmaceutical and healthcare manufactures. The company will also join forces with existing United Drug European packagers located in the UK, Belgium and Holland. This strong international platform will continue to grow and develop business. Sharp will continue operations as usual to support the Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, Animal Health, OTC, Nutritional, and Personal Care markets.

Sharp is headquartered in Allentown, Pennsylvania, with additional facilities in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania. The Allentown facility contains 30 dedicated suites, supported by a fully automated warehouse.The company has more than 400,000 square feet of manufacturing space and employs more than 600 employees.
