AMRI (NASDAQ: AMRI) celebrates almost twenty years as a premier contract
With locations throughout the United States, Singapore, Hungary and Asia, AMRI is
uniquely positioned to provide customized solutions utilizing the company’s broad range of services, technologies, locations and cost models.
AMRI provides a broad spectrum of integrated chemistry and biology services backed by a highly experienced and educated scientific staff. Its tightly integrated services can be accessed independently or as a full drug discovery, development, and manufacturing platform.
At the earliest stages of drug discovery, AMRI helps customers identify and optimize biologically active compounds using both natural product-based and synthetic chemical libraries, along with in vitro biology capabilities. Once a lead compound is identified, AMRI provides medicinal chemistry and lead optimization coupled with technologies in metabolism and biotransformation.
AMRI provides a variety of key development services to help move compounds into clinical trials including chemical process R&D, preformulation, formulation development, analytical development, separation sciences and bioanalytical services. Additionally, AMRI can scale-up compounds for preclinical testing, as well as develop new synthetic routes to target compounds.
AMRI’s large scale facilities provide manufacturing of active pharmaceutical ingredients (API), advanced intermediates, and a number of high quality generic APIs. Its U.S.-based commercial cGMP facility manufactures a number of customer compounds for both clinical trials and commercial products and provides specialized capabilities in the areas of high potency and controlled substance manufacturing. Production facilities in Asia provide a reliable and cost-effective supply chain of non-GMP intermediates for the company’s U.S. large scale facility.
