This expansion significantly enhances both primary and secondary screening capacities for compounds developed at the Ahmedabad site.
With this new addition, Piramal Pharma Solutions is poised to deliver clients a comprehensive suite of discovery capabilities, leveraging a wide array of in-vitro screening technologies to support its extensive research service portfolio. The primary objective is to generate robust data packages that offer superior insights to clients, thereby strengthening the company’s value as an outsourcing collaborator. This investment will lead to an enhanced experience for PPS discovery services clientele. The amalgamation of chemistry and biology services in a single location promises to streamline the discovery process, significantly boosting efficiency. The newly implemented high-throughput screening format empowers PPS to assess and screen extensive collections using a range of assay platform technologies, including TR-FRET (Time-Resolved Fluorescence Resonance Energy Transfer) / HTRF (Homogeneous Time-Resolved Fluorescence), Fluorescence Polarization (FP), absorbance, Luminescence/Electrochemiluminescence (ECL), AlphaScreen, LanthaScreen, flow cytometry, and high-content imaging. These platforms are adaptable to a diverse array of targets, encompassing, but not limited to, G-protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs) and kinases.
